11 Best Print On Demand Bookmarks Websites
1. Printify
If you’ve read any of my other product guides, you’ll know that I always recommend Printify. They’re easy to navigate for beginners in print on demand and offers a super extensive range of products compared to most.
I personally love their range of stationery products including journals, calendars and postcards. For bookmarks, they only have a single type to offer – which is made of aluminum. The bookmark comes with a cut-out slot at the top so you can easily hold a book’s page and this makes it unique!
Products are shipped worldwide and you can save further by subscribing to their monthly Printify Premium plan (and pay the prices in green).
Here’s a sample of a Printify bookmark I created using a seamless pattern design from Creative Fabrica. I uploaded the file and made it a pattern using Printify’s pattern tool, then I added my own text “A” using a font I liked.
A nice gift for your bookworm friends!

2. Contrado
There’s also only a single kind of bookmark you can design with Contrado and it’s made of hand-stitched leather. Customers have the choice of getting a faux leather one, a good choice for vegans.
Contrado’s bookmarks can be bought and sold as a single piece or in a pack of three pieces – but you’re still able to design them individually. So whether you’re buying them for yourself or to share with friends, you can enjoy a variety of designs.
Contrado is generally more expensive compared to other fulfillment companies as products are guaranteed to be high quality. They even have multi-year printing guarantees for products like rugs!

3. VistaPrint
If you’re looking for a print on demand Europe-based company, VistaPrint is one to check out. They’re known for high quality printing for promotional products like keychains, magnets, business cards and even large banners.
The minimum ordering quantity (MOQ) on VistaPrint varies with each product. For their bookmarks, you’ll need to place an order of five units minimum and this is applied for the same product only. It comes in full color and can be printed on both sides!
I would recommend using VistaPrint if you’re planning a bulk purchase of bookmarks or even other kinds of stationeries. There are increasing bulk discounts to be enjoyed when purchasing more – up to 81% off just for their bookmarks.
Just like other white label POD companies, orders will not have their brand written on it and packages will appear to come directly from you (as the seller).

4. HelloPrint
In a glance, HelloPrint looks just like VistaPrint – and it’s true, most of their products are quite similar. There are definitely differences to be noticed when browsing their catalog and one that caught my eye is – how HelloPrint has a whole page dedicated to eco-friendly print on demand products.
Even for their bookmarks, you can design ones made of recycled paper. Similar to VistaPrint, the MOQ differs for every product and there are bulk discounts for you to enjoy with large purchases (up to 90%!).
There are four material options as well as four finishing options (list below) for their classic bookmarks and you can choose the type of corners you prefer (straight or rounded). You can also print your designs in four rectangular sizes.

5. Zazzle
Zazzle is often at the top of my list, thanks to the option for customers to personalize most of their products. If you’re a seller on Zazzle, you can set your product or design in a way that allows customers to personalize with their initials, dates or even quotes.
Compared to others in this list, Zazzle is a print on demand marketplace where individuals sign up to buy & sell on the same site. You don’t have much control over your store compared to selling with white labels but there are still ample opportunities to make money with.
For bookmarks, there are some cool options to explore as a seller, including designing a pack of fours. Customers can choose between six sizes for bookmark cards, customize corners, select paper types and even add envelopes to their purchase if they want to.

6. PrintPlace
Keen on working with a printing company that’s based in the US? PrintPlace is one you should check out. They have a huge range of promotional items you can design for your business or event – and they also ship to Canada!
There are four types of bookmarks you can design on the site – list down below. You should choose one that’s best for your budget and meets your printing requirements (size, colors, material). You can even get their free sample pack of printed products and just pay for shipping (if applicable).
I personally find their metallic bookmarks to stand out against others as no other site offers the same – except the aluminum kind on Printify I’ve created above. There is however a large MOQ to meet but at the super low cost (under $0.50 each), it’s worth considering if you’re planning to sell or give them away as souvenirs.
The MOQ for their standard bookmarks is only 25!

7. Superior POD
Looking to order custom designed bookmarks in a smaller quantity? Superior POD is based in the US and you only need to purchase a minimum of six bookmarks in an order.
Similar to some of the sites above, you can choose between a one/two sided print, type of corners and whether you want a hole made for tassel (not included). There are savings up to 65% when ordering their bookmarks in bulk – not as much as VistaPrint or HelloPrint but it’s still worth noting.
Superior POD ships worldwide and if you’re in a rush, you can pay extra for expedited production (two paid options).

8. UPrinting
If you’re good with just getting a usual paper bookmark, you should also look into UPrinting. The MOQ for the bookmarks in the photo below is only 25 and you can actually order up to 50000 (at 97% discount and for just under $900 – wild!).
There are 11 paper types you can choose – they vary in thickness (10-17pt.) and type of coating used. A more durable bookmark is usually a thicker one and I would prefer getting those for bookworms.
Unlike others, you can even select the size of the hole (3 sizes) you want them to create and choose between five hole locations for the bookmark (top/right/left).

9. BookBaby
If you’re into print on demand books or photo books, BookBaby is a site you should really consider. Aside from the usual physical books, they also cater to ebooks and audiobooks.
Who knows, you might just publish your own book with them and sell bookmarks at the same time!
Using BookBaby for print on demand bookmarks may not be as straightforward as other platforms in this list. But they’re still a big player in the field of book printing, so I thought it’s worth including.
They have a minimum quantity of 100 per order and quotations are provided upon request (just like the image below). You can upload your own design or get their graphic design services as an add-on.

10. Solopress
Another print on demand UK-based company that offers bookmarks is Solopress. Their catalog is quite limited to promotional products like some of the sites above but there are a few types of bookmarks you can design with them.
You’ll need to order a minimum quantity of 25 units (pulp bookmarks) and there are additional discounts when you purchase more. Choose between a single sided print or a double sided one.
Similar to HelloPrint, you can also design eco-friendly bookmarks made of recycled paper on Solopress. It’s slightly cheaper than the pulp bookmarks and price includes delivery, but you’ll need to purchase at least 100 units in an order.

11. Bags Of Love
What you see on Bags Of Love is quite the same as what is offered on Contrado. They are a company under the Contrado Group that looks to serve print on demand in UK.
BOL does ship worldwide just like Contrado but the high shipping charges is definitely something you’ll need to account for.
For bookmarks, BOL offers the same leather and faux leather ones like Contrado. They also come in a pack of three or as a single unit – up to you. Your designs are printed on the front as they come with a solid backing color – choose between black, ivory, red, blue or pink.
There’s only one size to customize but that should be fine as bookmarks don’t have to be too large or too small. A standard size works for most!
