If you’re looking to design a few different kinds of zipper pouches (list down below), it’s always easier to start with Printify. They also offer a wide range of bags (over 40 kinds!) you can sell in the same store.

I always recommend Printify for beginners as prices are cheaper than most. You can save further by subscribing to their Printify Premium plan (over 20% off normal prices). Printify works with multiple printing partners worldwide and make it easier for you to sell with their own integrations.

When deciding which type of pouch you should sell, consider what your ideal customer needs. If it’s meant for makeup and toiletries, a bigger one is best. On the other hand, a smaller one works as a pencil case!

Here’s a sample of a Printify zipper pouch I created using a seamless pattern design from Creative Fabrica. I uploaded the design file and made it repeat all over using Printify’s pattern tool, then I added my own text.

Looks pretty real, does it not? There are two sizes for this product and you can choose between selling one with a white zipper or a black zipper, or both.

2. Prodigi

Looking for a UK-based print on demand company? Prodigi is definitely an option! Though they have more paper based products, you can still design zipped wash bags on their site.

Compared to the Printify pouch above, Prodigi’s wash bags come with a lining on the inside – makes a nice premium-looking gift for family and friends. It’s perfect to be used as a makeup bag or a toiletry bag for when you’re on the go or travelling. The product comes with a gold zipper, printed in three sizes and made of polyester canvas for durability.

Just like Printify, Prodigi is a fully white label POD fulfillment company and none of their branding will be printed on packages to your customers.

3. Gooten

Accessory pouches on Gooten are pretty much like the ones on Printify (the sample above). You can choose between a flat bottom or a T-bottom pouch which comes with either a white or black zipper closure color. Either way, the zipper pull will be gold in color!

There are two sizes to choose from for each type of pouch and designs can be printed on both sides. Unlike Printify, Gooten is best for intermediates and advance individuals in print on demand as you’ll need to state your POD experience when signing up for an account.

Although these pouches are quite straightforward to design, Gooten still provides downloadable templates in JPG and PSD for artists to refer to. This ensures your designs fit perfectly within the print areas and covers all necessary angles (especially for the T-bottom pouch).

4. Art Of Where

Want to work with a print on demand company that’s great for selling in Canada? Art Of Where (AOW) is one of my recommendations as they’re based in Montreal, Canada and still ships worldwide!

I personally love their range of tote bags that are both unique and versatile in use. You can find vegan leather tote bags as well as vegan leather makeup bags on the site. Vegan leather is another term for faux leather as it does not use animal products (not real leather).

Whether you’re planning to design their vegan leather makeup bags or the usual canvas ones, both are made with lining – navy blue twill lining and indigo denim lining, respectively. You can even choose the color for zipper closure and add an extra vegan zipper pull – like in the image below.

If you’re only interested in designing the usual zipper pouches, you can find cheap ones on Inkedjoy for just under $5. There are three sizes to choose from, all comes with a black zipper closure color and a gold zipper pull.

Smaller square pouches are great for keeping coins and cards, while larger ones can fit stationeries and makeup tools. The use of black interior lining will make it harder for stains to be obvious.

Working with oversea print on demand companies can be great for cost-saving purposes but you’ll need to consider the longer shipping times (up to 20 days for the US) and delivery cost (varies with shipping companies). Regardless, there are huge savings to be made if you’re placing bulk orders!

6. HugePOD

Another print on demand site you can look into for purchasing in bulk is HugePOD. When buying more than 100 units, you’ll enjoy 20% off normal prices.

Most of their products come in multiple base colors and prices are much cheaper than others (not as low as Inkedjoy’s). However, for makeup bags, you’ll need to pay extra for double-sided printing as the price stated only includes one-side print.

HugePOD also offers bag accessories like luggage tags and keychains that you can sell as complementary products in your ecommerce store and upsell to customers.

Searching for something different that’s more luxurious in look and feel? Contrado is the best site to check out if you’re willing to pay a little bit more.

They’re a UK-based print on demand company with printing facilities in the US so you can be sure that shipping times are fast. Although prices are on the high side, their quality is worth the money and there’s even multiyear printing guarantees for some products.

Their custom leather pouch is a unique product to grab as they’re made of 100% real Nappa leather (choose between textured or smooth) and comes with a faux suede inner lining (beige). There are three beautiful zipper colors to choose from (gold, silver or grey) and two sizing options.

Another print on demand company you can source directly instead of going through Printify is MWW On Demand. Their website isn’t the best to use but there are integration options available and a relatively wide range of products to sell, including clothing and accessories.

There are two options for their all over print accessory pouch – with a flat bottom or a T-bottom. Both are available in two sizes and you can choose between a black or white laminate lining (on the inside).

If I were you, I would also consider selling the same designs on other AOP products like scarves, bandanas and lunch bags – all offered by MWW On Demand!

10. InkPOD

Inkedjoy and HugePOD didn’t impress you? InkPOD is your next best alternative for affordable cosmetic bags as all orders are shipped from Hong Kong. They also have a range of interesting POD bags you can design including fanny packs and drawstring bags (priced under $4 as well)!

InkPOD’s cosmetic bags come with a black removable handle, which makes it even more ideal for makeup lovers. This makes it unique compared to other fulfillment in this list and almost comparable to what you see on Art Of Where.

If you aren’t able to customize zipper colors, I suggest making designs that blends well with it e.g. black tones. It will definitely make the product look more premium, even if the cost is just under $5 (no one knows).

Yoycol is another Asian-based print on demand company you can explore for cost savings.
