This post is an index for all Singapore stocks covered and tagged under our EM Stock Pick Tear Sheets (plus additional untagged stocks) organized as follows:
Note: The links above to the relevant post sections below will only work for paid subscribers.
And for individual stocks:
🌐🌏 etc. This is fairly subjective as, for example, many stocks are part of global supply chains rather than domestic companies.
🏛️ State owned, controlled, or influenced companies.
👼🏻 ESG friendly stock e.g. renewable energy. This is fairly subjective.
🅿️ Preference shares available (Note: I don’t see a comprehensive list of preference shares or preferred stocks readily available on the Internet…).
A very short description of the stock with links to the IR page and stock quote(s) on Yahoo! Finance or other sites.
Any Wikipedia page (denoted by 🇼) and a Substack stock tag link (denoted by 🏷️) linked to any post under EM Stock Pick Tear Sheets.
Titles linked to any good or in-depth research (🗃️ denotes an archived piece) from funds etc covering the stock or our posts (denoted by ✅).
* Substack search leaves much to be desired. Inputting common terms or names (e.g. Holdings, etc.) will lead to a broad range of irrelevant results. Inputting a stock ticker (e.g. those that are numbers, etc) without the exchange abbreviation can come up with better Substack search results.
And as always, this post is provided for informational purposes only (and to make your life easier…). It does not constitute investment advice and/or a recommendation…
The goal is to build up a database or index of international, frontier, and emerging market stocks that have research available or are owned by international stock funds.
This means there is considerable room for improvement for these index posts over the coming months e.g. adding an icon link to any Wikipedia page (e.g. via an icon) as such pages usually mention any scandals or problems a stock may have add; tagging and adding additional stocks from 2023 EM Fund Stock Picks posts; organizing stocks by industry for countries that have many stocks covered, etc.
