Heading abroad? The unlimited messaging alone makes it a no-brainer for international travellers.
While the data allocation is quite low, even the 2GB for Visa Infinite holders covering APAC, the always-on messaging is a genuine blessing for those who don’t need heavy connectivity.
It also works well as a backup eSIM for family or friends you’re travelling with, so emergency communication is always sorted.
Benefits by Card Variant

The exact benefits depend on your Visa card tier:
Visa Infinite: Complimentary Travelgoogoo365 Annual Plan (unlimited messaging all year) + 1GB data (Global – 1 year) + 1GB data (Asia Pacific – 1 year)
Visa Signature: Complimentary Travelgoogoo365 Annual Plan (unlimited messaging all year) + 1GB data (Global – 1 year)
Visa Platinum: 50% off the Travelgoogoo365 Annual Plan + 1GB global 4G/5G data + 20% off additional data boosts.
Note that if you’re using in Asia, the data gets deducted from the APAC data balance before touching the Global data balance, so basically you get 2GB on Visa Infinite and 1GB on Signature variant.
Given that most of us have Signature/Infinite cards issued in India, this is a beautiful offer.
Unlimited Messaging
The Travelgoogoo365 plan covers unlimited messaging with all plans, on WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram, LINE, WeChat, Zalo, Viber, and more, without consuming your high-speed data allocation.
Good part is that Photo sharing in these apps are also part of unlimited messaging unlike those chat plans we get in the flights, though voice/video calls will draw from your data balance.

Since this is an eSIM, your phone must support it (iPhone XS or later, most flagship Androids from 2019 onwards). Older devices and basic Android phones won’t work.
I gave it a try with my HDFC Infinia Visa Infinite Credit Card and the signup process went through smoothly.

Things to Keep in Mind
eSIM only: no physical SIM is issued
Data-only service: standard cellular calls & SMS aren’t supported; use WhatsApp or similar
Top-up costs can add up: the free 1GB is enough for light use, but buying extra data beyond that is pricier than a local SIM at most destinations
Activate when ready: the 1-year validity clock starts from activation (like using the data first), not from the date of redemption.
Bottomline
Travelgoogoo’s complimentary eSIM offer is an ongoing Visa card benefit and it’s active all the way through November 2027. It’s worth redeeming even if you don’t have a trip planned immediately.
It’s great to see Visa running meaningful, card-linked benefits like this and the recent Visa power travel offer.
If you don’t hold any Visa Signature or Infinite variants, it’s worth exploring the lifetime free cards like: IDFC Wealth (Visa Infinite) or Scapia (Visa Signature) as it also has 0% forex markup.
It reminds me of the time when Visa had direct control over variant-level perks, especially lounge access, which has since been moved to individual banks.
